Kindergarten From 1 Years Old
Welcome to our Nursery our class where children start as early as 1 years old. Expect total care from multiple teachers who focus on guiding sensory play to stimulate visual and hand to eye coordination. Confidence and muscle strength is boosted with our indoor play equipment. Creative and cognitive skills are enhanced with our guided art projects, music & stories. At lighthouse we strongly encourage social interaction.
Nursery Teacher
Our nursery teachers are Native English Speakers (NES) and have been with Lighthouse many years. They are very passionate about their jobs and they love the children like a parent. They are very soft and very patient in character which allows the young children to express themselves and grow in confidence, explore their world and make a healthy bond.
Support Staff
Every nursery class has a trained assistant teacher. They are there to be totally involved with the childrens activities.
Specialist Art teachers
We have a specialist art teacher taught at Lighthouse for many years. She is very calm and always prepares great creations for every level of student.

Activites for confidence in learning & development
Nursery children usually join the class at aged 1 years but there is total flexibility. We make a very safe, stimulating, fun & educational environment. This is not day care, this is class that instills structured learning & development in a fun way.

Sensory play & cognitive development
Nursery classes are structured around sensory play, such as waterplay, imaginative play scenes and music. We enhance a child’s cognitive development in english language with compelling stories and visual aids.
Creative thinking and art
Creativity is a core part of the children’s day. Activities are unique, created and prepared by the lead teacher as part of a continuous improvement towards the next class level. Children get a lot of hands on help to create meaningful artwork.
Development
Music & movement
Music, dance and nursery rhymes. We have a range of musical instruments and we sing simple songs and encourage dancing to develop rhythm and coordination.
Social & Emotional Development
Lighthouse has a strong emphasis on social skills and emotional intelligence. Children sit in a circle and sing songs, clap hands, or pass a toy around to promote social engagement. Children learn to interact respectfully with peers, and develop empathy.
Healthy meals at our cafeteria
Lighthouse has full time chefs who cook fresh healthy food everyday for the children for breakfast lunch and snacktimes. Our food is proudly served without refined sugar or MSG.
Cloakrooms & cleaning
Showers and toilets and a cloakroom to store the children’s bags. Everything is deep cleaned every week and rooms are cleaned everyday.
